Hello all.
I am due to have a couple of trial lessons at Stapleford airfield soon.

Does anyone here fly from / to Stapleford? Are there any flyins or other kind of things at Stapleford?

Any advice, Cheers,

Louis Coke (Coke611)

Hi, I am full time at Stapleford, currently in the middle of the PPL, and hoping to go further.

Its a friendly school with nice people, good instructors, and decent grub. Overall I am very happy with it.

One piece of advice, if you can afford it, don't bother with the Cessna 152's, switch to the Piper Warrior (PA28). It's much more comfortable, and you feel like you are flying a 'proper' aircraft.

E-mail me if you want any more info.

I've got a lesson booked in a DH82a at Stapleford next month :D now that's a real plane, handles just the same as a 152 although the visibility is crap when taxying

My dad got blown out of his bed twice in Stapleford. Mind you it was 1940 and the Luftwaffe were dropping nasty little bombs on it :D :D
