The heartiest of congrats to the pilot of the Arrow that managed to get themselves and two pax safely back to earth after a main leg of the undercarriage jammed after t/o yesterday.

Not only were all totally unhurt but the a/c looked to be virtually undamaged (from a distance) despite only two thirds of the requisite wheels being down - a very professional landing (in 30kt gusts) indeed.

Warms the cockles to see such an ending to such an event...

Which Arrow was this, a visiting one??

The aircraft was Redhill Aviation's G-BOWY and the pilot was one of their instructors. The apparent damage was limited to one flap - of course a decent pilot would have retracted the flaps at the last minute :D :D
