Hi Everyone,

I was supposed to have started a new position on the LJ 60XR in the middle east on the 60XR. The aircraft is VP registered.
The authorities on the Cayman Islands would not issue a validation based on my JAR ATPL.
Did anyone have similar experiences and if so, how did you solve them?
Thanks and enjoy

The last time I saw a Cayman Island validation rejected, it was an F/O validation, and the grounds were too little total time on type, and some language barriers in the email correspondence, regarding PIC time etc.

I was under the impression that the CAAC would give you a reason for the rejection?

Hey Klimax,

yes, they complained I don't have sim training completed, yet just passed my OPC/LPC less than a month ago.
Strange truly

They require approved Sim initial ( FlightSafety/CAE) and a valid recurrent in such a SIm.
