Search didnt take me to an answer, just wandering if this requirement of donning OXY Mask above FL250 when onE pilot becomes absent applies only in the US. My understanding is OPS 1 or UK does not require it.

MD - be careful - I think the 'exemption' in EUOPS is only where quick-don masks are fitted. Check with your Asian regulator?

Aircraft operated above FL250 need quick donning mask by EU OPS but im sure in the US as well as i was restricted to FL250 with aircraft max ceiling of 31000ft as i had no quick donning mask..let alone an FO...let alone an A/P:eek:
I do remember the Fl250 rule in the US if a pilot leaves the flight deck...but not a rule in the EU and never been seen it applied anywhere.
Bit pricey in O2 maybe
