Hear that Caravan VH-NMV may have had a nose gear collapse at Warnervale, NSW on March 16, 2014. Anyone got the details?

BlatantLiar, I'm not sure if you are being a tosser deliberately however the thread is titled Camden but the details clearly show elsewhere.

This one perhaps :ok:

Had to go back through posts to find it, seems the search function is broken.

It appears so. All is well now and it is back in service.

Yep Elderslie watched it happen.
Landed long, used no reverse, drifted to the right until nose was in the shallow drain, hit the drain pipe still doing around 15/20 mph. Would have hit the fuel tanker if pipe did not stop it.
Pilot arrived from LAX late day before, early drive from home at Camden to Wolongong to pick up aircraftflew to ELD to arrive around 845am.
Had not flown C208 for 6 weeks or so had not flown into ELD for quite awhile.
So you work out why it happened.
Bowie took it rather well did not yell or scream once. engine only had 200 hrs to run. near new prop tho. no firwall damage. mount and nose gear stuffed. down for 3 weeks.
