Ladies and Gents,

Ive tried searching the forum but no luck on what Im looking for.

How do you apply to become an ATO?

I am currently involved with an up and coming sim company who would like to supply MCC training. If I am correct, the company will have to be an ATO as well as the instructors being MCCI qualified.

Any information on how to do it or where to look (CAP or SRG's) would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

Suggest you start here:

(Standards doc 55)

If the prospective ATO is located in Florida, that link will not be of much use as you will have to apply to EASA for approval and not the UK. The EASA guidance document (still in draft) is here (http://easa.europa.eu/system/files/dfu/approvals-and-standardisation-organisation-approvals-docs-FCL-UG.FCTOA.00003-000---UserGuideForApplicants080612.pdf). EASA will subcontract oversight to one of the national authorities but it will not necessarily be the UK.
