Technical question please. I am looking at a project where there is a question of whether a STC holder can also be the TC holder for the aircraft type envolved with the STC?
I thought that if the TC holder wanted to modifly his own aircraft, then he had to go the optional equipment route, but if a different business entity owned the STC, then that was OK.
Any ideas on the relevant legislation would be good, as I have looked around for a precise text and cannot find any, either FAA or EASA.
