lovely moment!

Had a lovely moment today, when I had to say goodbye to my student as I am moving on, only flew with her 3 times and she gave me a big hug and burst into tears!

Won't be instructing for a while and I am still only a very new instructor, but was a lovely moment that made me so happy I made the decision to instruct and felt priviledged to have had effected someone in such a positive way!

Can't wait to get back to instructing in the future!

.. . ..,aw . . shucks . . .. . could be she just fancied your parts . . . .. . wouldn't have remotely touched the heart of my old CFI . . . he didn't have a heart . . maybe an old black pickled walnut . . .. . . he had a framed notice on his desk saying -

"If you come in here with any idea of complaint or useless comment on any subject . . be warned . . . I soon develop hyperstalsis of the gastric mucosa . .. . . and become an exceedingly unpleasant bastard."
