Has anyone heard any news of GNODE, an AA5B, departed from Seething (near Norwich, UK), at 0915 utc 04 May. Full fuel, destination and route not notified.
When I left work yesterday, it still hadn't been found.

AA5B G-NODE is not missing, but is alive & well, & has been parked at Elstree since yesterday, (6th May).

:) Thanks Distaff - good news indeed.
A lot of work went into the search, but it's good to know everyone's OK.

There could be more to this story than you see!.
Where did it go?
What was it doing?
Which authorities could be interested?
Just putting 2 and 2 together.

Out of interest, how did the authorities come to the conclusion that it was missing?
Just want to figure out what went wrong. If it was a mistake by the pilot (no idea if it was or not...), I'd like to know so that I don't make the same mistake.

The aircraft operator notified all the relevant authorities.
I understand that the matter is now sub judice, so no further information can be published, at the moment.

Might answer a few questions by noting that Special Branch are interested in it's movements.
I have to lock this thread for obvious reasons.
