Briefing before skill test simulator

In your opinion, or following your experience, how long does last a briefing before a skill test simulator session?

Depends...if it's an initial type rating mine have lasted about 30-40 minutes. For a recurrent with IR renewal, about 20-30 minutes, and a recurrent without IR renewal, about 10 minutes. That's been with both regulator inspectors and designated inspectors. The debriefs on the other hand... Depends on if the guy or gal is staying at your hotel and how soon it is until the bar opens (or closes)!

Rostered briefing time is one hour in "my" outfit. Usually part of that is dedicated to drinking coffee and smoking for those that are addicted.

+TSRA ,not so bad in your company, mostly if the bar is closing by the hour you have finished the session....

Once had a few beers before the sim session.
a) Had to redo it next day.
b) It wasn't in an airline.
