Just a quick one, for those with experience, I'm looking at doing my first flight out of the uk to France just would like a little bit of info on what I would need to have done/ready, I have done most to my knowledge would just like someone to go over it so I don't die :D thanks

Uhmm, if you know a bit of french is much better. In rural areas you can face people who don't speak english or do not like to do so. Normally, ATC is professional and reliable. Stay out of Paris area and enjoy your flight. It is a nice country where to fly.

You will probably be better off asking/searching in the Private Flying section - there is a wealth of European touring experience there.

It is a large topic so if you could expand a bit on what is already vs. what you still feel you need clarifying then that would be helpful. Long story short though it is not that complicated!
