Islay Airport Open Day and Airshow:

The problems, which resulted in the cancellation of the 2013 Islay Airport Open Day and Airshow, now appear to have been resolved. The good news is that the 2014 event is due to take place on Saturday, 16th August and everyone on Islay looks forward to settled weather and a busy fly-in. Hello, with a month to go, I thought I'd both check that the event is still on for the 16th August and give it a bump for some publicity before I book an aircraft (don't get too excited- its a PA28).

I'm planning on taking a PA28 over from Prestwick. I've been a couple of times previously, and it is a really good day out. Fingers crossed for the weather...
