Hi, was looking for some clarification regarding revalidation of an EASA rating. At present I have an NPPL (A) and normally revalidate my SSEA (Land) rating by experience and undertaking a 1 hour flight with an instructor. I normally fly a Jabiru SPL450 (Annex 11) but would still like to retain my privileges to fly EASA type aircraft so was thinking of converting my NPPL (A) to the LAPL (A). My question is, do the hours flown as PIC in the Annex 11 Jabiru count towards revalidation of the EASA rating?
Cheers,

Firstly, a subtle difference but, an LAPL does not contain any Ratings.

The privileges of the LAPL itself allow PIC flight in an SEP <2,000kg, no
more than 3 Pax and VFR only.

Flight time in a Jabiru would count to maintain LAPL privileges current.
(Requires 12hours PIC and 1 Hour PUT in the 24 month period prior to
any flight as PIC)
