Hi!
I would like to know, according to the ICAO Standards, which is the correct phraseology, to give a clearance to an acft, flying with radar vectors, to intercept the final course of a non-precision approach ( VOR-DME, NDB...). If i say: "Cleared for VOR-DME approach rwy 09 report establish on Final Approach Course" is this the correct phraseology?
Thanks for the help.

The one I hear most often is (for example) "Cleared VOR DME approach runway 03 report established on the inbound radial".

Can't tell you what is strictly correct, but that way seems obvious and clear to me.

"cleared vor dme approach rwy09" is the actual clearance, the 'report' part is an instruction.

....report established on final approach track = ICAO
...report established on final approach course = FAA (I think?)
much of a muchness really, when in doubt "report eastablished" ;)
