Comac are promoting the C919 atthe Singapore (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-26043993) airshow.
Not sure I'd want to be beta testing it as crew or SLF.
The BBC argues that it could prosper on the local market initially and that this will help generate overseas sales.
I fear this could well be false logic. Even if the plane is sound, a few incidents at the hands of mainland airlines could kill off this project entirely.
