Is there a minimum number of hours glass cockpit time needs before an Instructor can teach for it?

Just had a new instructor start and have done the differences training for them and now want them to teach on the EFIS aircraft.

Never seen anywhere where a minimum requirement to teach applies to any of the differences...other than "gotta have it to teach it".

Had very little experience of G1000 before I started to teach on it and, thinking back, I was a fairly fresh faced instructor at the time.

Personally, I probably could have done with a bit more experience of it in a 'relaxed' environment so I was more than just one step ahead of the student!

Thanks, I thought it was the case as I searched FCL and 804 and came up a blank. The guy is quite switched on with it so I am happy to authorise him to teach on it at his pace.
