Cant find the decode for 4500W in the following metar:

some reference for thisWorld Meteorological Organization, Manual on Codes, Volume I.1, Part A, Section A, Code FM 15, Regulation 15.6.2:When the horizontal visibility is not the same in different directions and when the minimum visibility is different from the prevailing visibility, and less than 1 500 metres or less than 50% of the prevailing visibility, and less than 5 000 metres, the group VNVNVNVNDv shall also be used to report the minimum visibility and, when possible, its general direction in relation to the aerodrome reference point indicated by reference to one of the eight points of the compass. If the minimum visibility is observed in more than one direction, the Dv shall represent the most operationally significant direction.

I’m trying to decode some of the rmks in US Canadian METARS.

I’ve made some progress with AO1/2, SLP.

But I’ve hit a brick wall with SF1SC7AC1 & PRESFR

Anyone have a good reference for a decode?

Believe they are giving you the types of clouds that make up the different layers. The US system wound have an 8/ before the three types of clouds that make up the 3 layers. PRESFR is Pressure Falling Rapidly.

Stratus Fractus 1 Okta (SF1) and relates to the FEW008.

Stratocumulus 7 Oktas (SC7) and relates to the BKN054.

Altocumulus 1 Okta (AC1) and relates to the OVC077.

Pressure Falling Rapidly (PRESFR).
