I was interested to know what the Embraer manual recommends as a crew action in the event of the above message, imagining it is TLA to idle and wait for the FADEC to do it's thing? Many thanks for any input my learned colleagues may have.

There are no memory actions for this engine r

QRH actions are

1. N1 operative engine >5% above idle
2. Associated thrust lever idle

Engine auto relights? Yes wait 2 mins before applying thrust if able.

No?

4. Associated start/stop selector stop
5. APU start
6. Transponder TA only

There is then housekeeping such as checking for fuel leaks, considering restart, fuel balancing and setting up for a single engine approach.

If the ENG FAIL happened just at rotate, because there are no memory actions, the drill would not be carried out until the after take off checklist was complete.

Just to add, the operative engine >5% above idle Item is only in the EASA versions along with the wait one minute before bringing it to idle after the start stop is put to stop.

They could have put a light on the thrust levers but the regulation change came too late in the development phase so they dealt with it in the procedures.
