Just a quick invite to all you Pilots out there from the “On Track” project. You should have had one of the 33,000 letters sent to all PPLs by the CAA last year telling you about us. We are three independent pilots (not CAA) who have been asked to take a completely fresh look at airspace infringements by GA aircraft - by listening to what you have to say for a change!!
Look on our website - www.flyontrack.co.uk to find out more about us, what we are trying to achieve on your behalf and how to get in touch. The 'Your Say' tab will give you a flavour of the information we're getting in. We really do urgently need your inputs. It's the first time anyone has actually sought your views on ways to solve the infringement problem - it's a great opportunity to get your oar in!
Anyway we’ll be at the PFA rally in June wandering around wearing T-shirts emblazoned with our “On Track” logo. No ice creams for sale, but if you see us please stop us for a chat. If you've had a 'nearly' or have an opinion on what should be done to sort out the GA transit problem in UK - we'd like to hear about it. Maybe your particular beef is GPS, or lack of LARS, difficulty in getting anyone to talk to you, Nav training, Maps, use of Transponder Mode C, anything! – it’s your chance to make a difference….let’s hear what you’re thinking.
