Am flyin from Liverpool to Kemble (and vv) this weekend. Do any fields en route offer free landins for a fuel uplift stop ?

Turweston is the only one that I can think of that is near your track that will wave the landing fee if you pick up fuel , at one time Oxford would but I think that they have stopped this practice.

Hope you're booked into Kemble. It's the Great Vintage Flying Weekend and quote
"G-VFWE 2002
URGENT MESSAGE FOR PILOTS!
We regret that no further aircraft of any type can now be accepted for G-VFWE 2002.
Coming by air without a PPR No. will achieve nothing, as a TRA is being set up for the duration of the event.
We very much regret these last-minute restrictions, but pre-registration has been open since the start of 2002. Please try earlier next year!"
Elvington advertises "Landing fee waived if aircraft is refueled" as a standard condition.

It could be on route for some one.

Thanks for the responses. Didn't find any free landings to refuel at but where booked into GVFWE and had a lovely time the wx was super.
Called at Barton on way home and if anyone out there wants a great day out tomorrow (Sunday) go there. The ldgs free and the hospitality is magnificent.
Have fun
