Hi, I noticed a great many photos being taken by enthusiasts at Sywell and wondered if any had posted their work on the internet. My Googling has failed me. Any pointers most welcome.

I'm sure more will come up on google as they get up loaded, it all depends on the tags the photographer used.

Thanks, some have been posted, I guess that given the number of cameras in action I might have expected more sooner.

Yes, LAA Permit. But they are not original P-51 Mustangs; they are impressive semi-scale replicas. Google "Titan Mustang" for example. :8

Ah, no.

I hadn't realised that there were any "real" P-51 Mustangs at the Rally; there were none there when I was on the field on Saturday but there were some replicas (including the impressive Titan Mustang I mentioned).

Original P-51s are operated under a Permit to Fly, yes - but administered directly by the CAA rather than the PtF delegation that the LAA holds.

See here (http://www.caa.co.uk/default.aspx?catid=1413), and CAP733.

As an aside, the Vulcan operates on a CAA Permit to Fly.
