If I needed a freelance crewmember for any given type, and sealed the deal via a sourcer/fixer/consultant etc, would I end up paying the going industry day-rate PLUS their commission?
...or do these guys scoop off a % from the standard rate and pay their pilots/FA's a reduced rate for the privilege of their service?
...or finally a bit (a lot) of both???
I know that there are MANY involved (immediacy of avail, location, hours on type, validations, etc etc to name but 4 of 100); but what sort of % do sourcers charge for their services? I guess it's all about their "black-book"......
