Looking for the route details between Australia and London and transit stops for the Qantas B747, around the following dates:
1. Christmas 1972 and January 1973,
2. Christmas 1973 and January 1974.

The November 1972 ABC shows QF B747B services ex Sydney to Heathrow :
Mon - via SIN/KUL/BAH/FCO
Wed - via SIN/BAH/AMS
Thu - via SIN/KUL/BAH/FCO
Sat - via SIN/BAH/FCO
Sun - via SIN/BAH/ATH/AMS
Schedules for December 72 and January 73 probably similar.

Aaaah those were the days! Speaking from a crew member's viewpoint, it is now just boring SYD-DXB-LHR.

Many a happy night and day spent in the crew lounge Gulf Hotel Bahrain with the Qantas crew stacking empty beer cans!
By the way in those days Qantas had all male cabin crew with just one female to deal with 'Laydees' issues.
