Each and every country has the task to publish it's own AIP. Jeppessen, Lido or some othe navigation documents and/ or database providers would reformat/ customize such information.
I have noticed that the AIP would ONLY publish OCA figures for a given approach, but not VIS/ RVR...
Furthermore, for the same approach, the RVR published by Jeppesen and Lido is different ( e.g. R550 in one, RVR 720 in the other...)
What's the criteria behind this ??

Will appreciate your comments!!!!

Some european countries have stopped promulgating RVR limits on the approach charts published in the AIP to avoid possible conflicts with OPS 1.430 which also mandates RVR limits. UK is one of these countries.

Examples: DURHAM TEES VALLEY ILS/DME/NDB(L) RWY 23 (http://www.ead.eurocontrol.int/eadbasic/pamslight-DF595E3C678D4FAE23CE174FE747165E/7FE5QZZF3FXUS/EN/Charts/AD/AIRAC/EG_AD_2_EGNV_8-5_en_2012-11-15.pdf) ; no RVR indicated
And AD 1.1 2.11.5 states : DH/MDH should then be determined as previously described and the related RVR obtained from Appendix 1 (New) to OPS 1.430.
UK AIP AD 1.1 (http://www.ead.eurocontrol.int/eadbasic/pamslight-DF595E3C678D4FAE23CE174FE747165E/7FE5QZZF3FXUS/EN/AIP/AD/EG_AD_1_1_en_2013-05-30.pdf)
Here is the EU-OPS : EU-OPS Regulation 859/2008 (http://eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/LexUriServ.do?uri=OJ:L:2008:254:0001:0238:EN:PDF) . The appendix on the RVR is to be found on page 70.

Some other countries still publish RVR.
Example Oostende in Belgium : AD2 EBOS IAC.02 ILS or LLZ RWY 26 (http://www.belgocontrol.be/website/eaip/eAIP_Main/graphics/Ad/Ebos/EBOS_IAC02_v09.pdf)

As Jeppesen aims at providing all needed information on their plates, I understand that they compile information from the AIP plus information from EU-OPS RVR appendix where applicable.

Hope this helps.
