Just met an Australian on his first ever trip abroad. His Dad had some history with Spitfires. He's leaving tomorrow evening.
Lovely chap, so I'll drive him anywhere feasible if I can.
Any tips or clues will be much appreciated.

Sometimes luck at Duxford - I chanced upon Carolyn Grace there last autumn and got to speak to her - lovely person.

Yes, Duxford was the obvious choice.
But is there anyone who knows what might be going on at Biggin Hill?

boguing,
Just in case you are not successful, tell your Aussie friend that there are two airworthy Spitfires at Temora NSW and also, two in NZ.

You could always try North Weald, best speak to The Squadron first they might have info on any likely movements.
Good luck.
