LX have embarked on a marketing campaign which welcomes us all to "civilised aviation".....anyone out there who might have a clue what this means?

What are the tangible issues here?

Conversely, does this also mean that all other airlines are "uncivilised" (whatever that would mean in practice)?

"Civilised" as in "polite". Same marketing spiel as used by BMI.

Swiss are now using the same "soundbite"........

Swiss, bmi & LX? Maybe we are missing the big picture ;) :p :D ;) :p :D

We keep getting flooded with the LX (or should I say Swiss) commercial and I still can't figure out why the white plane is flying against a grey sky - what's civilised about haze, smog, pollution?
