I have been tasked with the job of finding a place where I can get aircrew depressurisation experience. I've heard the military do it and civvies can pay to go on their course.
Does anyone know any more about this? Can you help?

There's a lot of it available in the USA - given 30 days notice for non-US citizens (thanks to 9/11).

If you ever make it to the USA on holiday...........

The UK RAF Aeromedicine Branch used to have a chamber at North Luffenham I think which was made available to civilian organisations sometimes...try speaking with the people from the same branch at Farnborough...numbers used to be on the back of 'CHIRPS'...

The "Aeromedical and Survival Training School", A&STS which is owned by the "Empire Test Pilots School", ETPS, which in turn is owned by "Qinetiq", which used to be the "Defence Evaluation and Research Agency", or DERA.

They are located at Boscombe Down, give the operator a call on 01980-664000 and ask to be put through to A&STS.
