Hope, someone is able to solve this riddle. Since at least six to eight weeks an Airbus A319-115(CJ) of german DC Aviation is parked at Innsbruck airport (INN) in austria and not moving anywhere. Does anybody know the story behind?

The crew could't find their UVair-card?

DC have four VIP Airbus A.319 CJ aircraft.

One way charter and they're still trying to sell it back out of there?

Maybe changed management company - Tyrolean?

I find the explanation with the UVair card fairly plausible http://www.pprune.org/get/images/smilies/wink2.gif and, at least according to Eurocontrol (http://www.ecacnav.com/Content.asp?PageID=128&OpNum=8483&Operator=DCA+GMBH), it is still being managed by DCA.

Indeed - Tyrolean Jet Services already has an A318-112(CJ) in its fleet. I.e. would theoretically make sense. But there is no proof for that. At least not now. Seems to be a different explanation necessary.

With the horrendous parking fees in INN they probably could have bought another ACJ by now :}

After Newforest mentioned, that DC operates four A319s, I looked it up at DCs hompage (I have seen the four planes there a couple of weeks ago as well). BUT: Today there are only two mentioned??? Have two of those planes been sold? For example the one in INN.

I believe D-ACBN is now operated by DC Aviation Al Futtaim in Dubai, a joint venture set-up there. Could be the reason for one. Could become A6- as well like a Global XRS.

By the way DC Aviation acquired Swiss operator Jet-Link last month.

A friend of mine is flying on the airbus, i do know that the owner went from DC to Tyrolean Jet Services with the Bus and took with him the crew...........

By the way am doing a A 320 or most likely a BD 700 Rating in November 2013, anybody knows at least a Freelance Job on the BD? Cheers
