Yesterday, at about lunchtime, Mike Snoyman was killed when his MK IX Spitfire crashed whilst in the circuit at Wonderboom Airport. The aircraft was totally destroyed. This was a Spitfire completely rebuilt at the Audley End shop and was absolutely magnificent. A very sad day for aviation. Condolences to Mike's family and close friends.

Yes truly sad news ......Mike Snoyman was as much a part of WonderTree as what anyone ever was ... He spent 1000's of hours flying there ...

Very sorry to hear this, Mike gave me a breathtaking ride in his Porsche once which nearly convinced me to take up Law instead of being a poor pilot.
