Stopped in at Loch Lomond on my way back from sailing the Clyde and met up with the guy that runs the seaplane operation there, he was telling me they have stopped using the 206 and showed me round a real fancy looking Caravan, he even popped the cowl open and let me see the big turbine which he says is 650hp burning 200LPH, the plane looked smart as all hell with fresh bright yellow paint and the new Cutty Sark livery of the sponsor. Hope the new set up and kit are a roaring success.

This is not very exciting but I flew over it on Saturday as I was heading Perth to Bute. It looked lovely (it was flying towards Loch Lomond). I'm off to watch the video in your link.

Haven't seen them on the Clyde by the heliport for ages...rumour was there was a dispute about mooring fees at the science centre (happy to be refuted if not true)

I speak to him on a daily basis during the season at Scottish Information. His usual trip is Loch Lomond Kyles of Bute loch Fyne to Crinan and Coryvrechan before returning to the Loch via Holy Loch. I understand talking to the owner that a second C208 is due for delivery soon.....The boss is a real nice guy very experianced and flys for Cathay Pacific.
