Are there any Class 1 holders out there on Adalumimab (Humira) AND Azathioprine?

It's probably worth a search, "inflammatory bowel disease" or such like. From memory, the authorities are interested in exacerbation etc

I expect you're blood profile is quite closely monitored on that regime, which should be in your favor.

Give us some feedback for future reference and good luck.

SKP,

Here is a informative US site that might be helpful.

CCFA: Crohn's | Colitis | IBD (http://www.ccfa.org)

Go to What are Crohn's & Colitis and click on Types of Medications and explore the whole site.

Not a pilot, but I have ulcerative colitis...

Good luck to you....

Diagnosed with colitis I lost my class 1.Clearly stated in JAR-FCL 3. Unless you are in stable remission. Couldn`t achieve that. Azathioprine was no problem but any biological like Humira would be a no go due to possible side effects, my doc (AMC) said. Same for higher dosis of cortisone. And none of the medication worked anyhow.
Last exit surgery. Colon out, ostomy on.Flight doc happy, regards me as cured.
Class 1 again (after 8 months without), kept the job, back on the Boeing. Apart from the flying medical issue I have a much better quality of life now than I had with this damned disease.Happy ending so far...
