Make sure the UK CAA hold your medical records :
How to obtain a UK EASA Licence if you hold a non-UK medical certificate/licence | Medical | Personal Licences and Training (http://www.caa.co.uk/default.aspx?catid=49&pagetype=90&pageid=2576)
Then you will need to take your student records to a UK EASA school with your stamped logbook for them to make an assessment about what hours are required to complete the PPL. 10 hours sounds about right.
Complete training and pass the test
Apply for license with UK CAA for EU EASA PPL
Receive license in mail and fly in any EU country with UK issued EASA PPL
