Model Aircraft Retirement Present

Help please,
Got a friend who is retiring in the next few months and we are looking to get one of those Travel Agent style models done up in the company's colour scheme. I have done a trawl around the internet and model shops but not soliciting much luck.
Does anyone here know of somewhere I can get or order such things?

There is someone in Hamburg who builds very fine custom made models, mostly of business and general aviation aircraft which are based and known here. Over the years, I've seen some of his work, not only in a local shop's window but also in the lounge of a private charter firm who had models of their fleet made. Incidentally, the picture of the Islander on top of his website (http://www.flugzeugmodelle-nach-mass.de/index.php?time=1363094848&seite=impressum) is one of those (for pictures of the original aircraft see Air Hamburg (http://airtaxi.air-hamburg.de/)). I really must say the models look terrific. The only downside seems to be his website isn't available in English, but why not send an e-mail and ask.

Thanks for that. Niceairplanes have a 26 week lead in time and we would really like the model for June. I'll give the hamburg guy an email and see what he says. In the meantime if anyone else has ideas I would much appreciate it.

Look up 'Builderscience' in ebay shops.
Winston Uy makes superb custom mahogony models at a very reasonable price.

Try Morrison Custom Aircraft in Philippines. I've had excellent mahogany models made there in the past.
