Noticed an advert for pilots BAE-146, Convair 580 and Metro.

Who are they?

Interesting to note that they have x 3 Fokker 100's but no BAe 146's listed.

It does make me wonder, by the amount of job ad's I'm seeing these days, requiring applicants to hold endorsements on the types involved before applying. Particuarly types which I imagine are not that common.

Is there really that many people out there that they can do this? Or is it often a case of "you get what you pay for"? ie. If you're not prepared to put the $$'s into training someone who's right for the job, but not nessecarily endorsed, then stiff **** if the one you get doesn't work out.

Looks like another Ozjet, Compass, Skyairworld, Strategic etc etc.

Best of luck.

You'll need it.

A bit vague?

I'm aware that the ad requests submissions from type rated Capts and FO's for the BAE 146 and Convair but what hours? I could go and get a 146 endo and have only 250 hours total time. Does that mean I'm eligble?

It doesn't have any similarities with any of these companies, and has been operating in Australia and overseas for some time. The only major challenge it seems, is finding Australian crew.

Are these positions based in Cairns? Any one have any idea what the package is like driving the 580 Capt & co?

Cheers
