Just to clarify, if I may:-

QDM = A magnetic heading to fly, in still air, TO the station called

QDR = A magnetic bearing FROM the station called

QDM - "M" = magnetic heading

QDR - "R" = either 'reciprocal' (of QDM) or 'RADIAL' (as in VOR)

QTE - true (bearing) from a station...assume an ATC tower...assume a female ATCO .... QTE = " CUTIE from the tower"

QUJ - don't know of any reason to use it...so forget it!!
