Heard it for the first time today. Thought they'd at least wait til the 319s turn up! :{

Did it make anyone else feel all warm and fuzzy...? :rolleyes: And how long before they have the same uniform as the rest of us?

Why not just use QANTAS? How the seats are presented to the public after all.

The next gear will be better technology, not frogslegs...

You obviously missed "Jetex..." Now that is a class callsign. :ok:

We were hoping it'd make them go faster :(

Why not just use QANTAS?

I suspect the same reason why Dash8 flights aren't called Qantas either...
they are QantasLink####
So now you can distinguish
Qantas - Mainline / Internernational
QantasLink - Dash 8
Q Jet - QantasLink 717 Jet Ops

Jetex callsign... isnt that what Cobham's AOC is under?

So who can distinguish?

JetConnect are still called Qantas.

Australian Air Express are still called Qantas.

US Registered 747 Freighters are still called Qantas.

My ticket still says Qantas.

Are they trying to imply that the 146 is a jet? That's false advertising!

Easy on the 146 , put food on the table and paid kids school fees over the years !

At least they use a different callsign for different types. Otherwise it would be a mass repeat of the FNP trap (the fastest Fokker in the west).

Is Jetex to QJet what Jetstar is to Qantas?

On a similar theme, could a certain F100 operator use QJumper?

I think it's 'Queue Jet', at least that's what they looked like they were doing at Brissy this morning! ;)

Good to see that they finally get a call sign! :D and more inline with the rest of the QLink ops (even though it is Cobham).

Interesting point though (although trivial) - will the guys and girls up the pointy end be wearing QLink inspired "threads" (uniforms) anytime soon now that the lavs are going to be down the back and the punters will actually see the pilots?

I mean the FAs wear the same gear, not to mention JetConnect......

And A319s??? I thought they were looking at Cseries? :}

Re 'Queue Jumper'...think the Dash should get that title when everyone is still waiting in line for A7 on 01, we're already up, up and away from A4 :E
