MCC in the UK

I had a query regarding the MCC. I currently have an FAA IR and was wondering if this can be used to start an MCC in the UK or would I have to do an EASA IR conversion first? Thanks in advance:ok:

Any ICAO state issued IR should be accepted by the ATO. Under Part FCL the defined requirements prior to MCC are somewhat lacking!
