Airbus Control Reversal

Some years ago, there was an incident with a Lufthansa A320 in which the captain's sidestick had reverse effect in roll due to faulty wiring.

I'm wondering, can a scenario like this (unexpected control reversal of the sidestick) be done in the simulator?

Not in any of the CAE or Thomson/Thales sims I use in UK.

In the same vein, it would be useful if they could simulate an incorrect flight control check on the ground eg no spoilers.
