WiFi only IPad2 and GPS

First post so I apologize if this is a resurrection, but I could not find the specifics and an answer to my question, that being:

I will soon be operating in a widebody cockpit using an FAA approved IPad2 with no, again, no 3G capability.

This IPad in addition to having all my Jepps, also carries all my MEL and Operations Handbooks.

I am looking for a portable GPS unit, Bluetooth or not, that works in a cockpit above 30K feet to attach to my IPad. Obviously the cockpit has window heat elements that may cause interference. Also, the unit must be able to keep up with jet speeds with an additional 150 kt jetstream tailwind.

Should I be concerned with regards to Bluetooth and onboard nav systems?

And over the GAFA. Nice little device. However, it'll only share with one Bluetooth device at a time. If you think you might want to share the love/GPS position with your mate/mates, the Bad Elf Pro (http://bad-elf.com/products/be-gps-2200/) will suit.

First - get yerself the DUAL XGPS150 (pref any state outside Calif to avoid its
horrific tax). Cost should be about 100 bucks US. Take it out, go charge it up,
stick it in its rubber thingy holder.

Next - go to iTunes and download the free DUAL GPS program. You'll need it
to access the GPS receiver data via bluetooth for the iPad and whatever nav
program you'll be using. Make sure yer Pad has its tooth enabled.

320/330 - Wedge the rubber thingy holder containing the receiver horizontal
and face up between the capt's side window handle and the window. Works
best there.

Clear all space dock moorings and you'll be free to navigate Mr Sulu.

The BadElf GPS works fine with the iPad. Also works fine with JeppFD if that's what your company uses.

The FAA rules are probably not what you want to hear....

"NOTE: Class 1 or Class 2 EFBs must not display own-ship position while in
flight. For use of own-ship position on the ground refer to AC 20-159."

only used it upto 20,000 mind and upto 300kts but have had no problems with it.

Which widebody are you flying that has such inadequate nav kit that you want to use an ipad?
