I'm reviewing our company's SMS and one aspect under review is the online database, safety reporting and auditing. I'd appreciate some brief pro/con opinions of online SMS programs.

In particular, I seek a program that has

Essential:
Mac compatible.
Off site hosting
Hazard register that can be used for accessed when reviewing a flight(s)
Customizable risk matrix
Employee submission of safety reports
Confidential reporting
Employee ability to follow and contribute to safety investigations
Ease of use, intuitive.
Audit module

Desirable:
iPad access
Document library hosting with auto notification of sync of documents
Ability of manager to track who has synced document data
Area where pilots can enter notes on airports (eg usual approaches, parking, clearance idiosyncrasies with foreign ATCs) that syncs to other crew

Australian 'Civil Aviation Safety Authority' (CASA) issues a really good DVD on the subject. It is available on line.

I presume you have used, or are currently using, Air Maestro?

Does almost all of those things at a reasonable price, none of them perfectly. I have yet to see another platform that can do everything in one package AND do it well.

You have my number - call to discuss.

Thanks mate. Yes, correct but as you say not perfect.

I'm looking at other options out there and hoping to get some feedback first hand.

I'll give u a call later this week when home.
