US Naval Test Pilot School - Homepage (http://www.navair.navy.mil/usntps/)

There is contact information at that website.

Why not ask USNTPS?

You might get a better answer over on the Flight Test Forum: Flight Testing - PPRuNe Forums (http://www.pprune.org/flight-testing-50/)

It used to be somewhere in the region of £750k to £1m IIRC.

If you are serious about self funding (or your company are funding), then just call 01980 664000 and ask for ETPS.

If you dig for answers on this, you will find that the answer is always "it depends". The schools charge differing amounts depending upon who the customer is. The quickest way to get a general feel is to start with a commercial operation like the National Test Pilot School in Mojave, California and find out their cost for the type of course you are interested in. Armed with that number, and recognizing that they will charge an amount that undercuts the others by 20%-50%, you will start to get an idea of the military cost. Good Luck!

For the US military test pilot schools, long course (i.e. 11 month), for a pilot (as opposed to an engineer), figure $1M.
