Fellow Aviators,

I am looking for an Oxygen escape route chart. I've seen the one on Smart cockpit but I'm looking for something a bit more official. I cant seem to find it in LIDO nor Jeppesen.

I am only looking for the Alps for now, if someone could guide me where to look or a link it would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

You will find that such things are company specific - hence unofficial in a general sense.

I don't think the Alps are high enough to justify a depressurised escape route procedure. In my company they exist for Afghanistan, New Guinea and the southern Andes.

Google the Airbus "getting to grips" set of manuals, they used to deal with how to calculate the Oxygen Profiles, but as esreverlluf said, these are airline generated and airline specific.

It's airline created. There's some also good Boeing stuff too around dealing with it too. Here are some.

SMARTCOCKPIT (http://www.smartcockpit.com/flight-operations.html#z6) (3 docs)

There is an Airbus FAST article too. FAST Magazine 15 Page 21

There is no need for an escape route over the Alps as they are far too narrow to cause any problem. Just turn towards the nearest low terrain showing on your Map display.

They are not published in Jepps or by the State. They are produced by your company.

The Alps don’t require a procedure as they are narrow enough to fly away from during the required descent.

Can highly recommend TRSC, we run a (smallish) Corp Jet operation and rely on them for help with some of our key documentation.
