What is being referred to as "Dubai Helicopters" is in fact the Dubai Air Wing - a non-commercial outfit to support the government / Royal Family. They moved out of Premiair mid July along with the other remaining users.

As for PAE? Last I heard: Still locked out - no-one paid for a goodly while:sad:

A photograph in www.farnborough.proboards.com/thread/5968/blackbushe-pics-past?page=96 dated 18 Oct shows the Premiair hangars effectively denied for use by aircraft as the airfield owners (BCA) have parked vehicles on the apron and taxiway.

I wonder if BCA have applied for a planning permission change of use from aircraft hangarage to car storage. I would imagine that the original planning permission specified aircraft hangarage.

Any updates? Are they still in business?

heli14
25th Nov 2014, 17:24
That depends how you define 'still in business'...

Still 'active' according to Companies House website, but no pay since around May and no-one's working AFAIK (not for Premiair anyway!).

More than happy to be corrected though if anyone on the inside has any better news.

OK, thanks.
but no pay since around May
And no pension arrears payments either. :(

The ex-Premiair hangar area at Blackbushe was NOTAMMED as 'not available' early last week but the NOTAM has now vanished.
Good sign or have they just forgotten to renew it?

According to this site, Premiair was dissolved in October last year.

According to this site, Premiair was dissolved in October last year.Premiair Aviation Group Ltd - yes (and PremiAir Aircraft Engineering Ltd too I think), but before that, Premiair Aviation Services Ltd was moved out of Premiair Aviation Group, and into something like Premiair Aviation International, or The Premiair Helicopter Group, I can't recall which.

Companies House still lists Premiair Aviation Services Ltd, which is/was the main trading company and AOC holder, as 'active' - search Premiair aviation services or company number 02263711 here: http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk//wcframe?name=accessCompanyInfo

However AFAIK they're not actually trading (though happy to be corrected if it meant people were to finally get the money they're owed).

Having said that, Premiair Helicopter Group also shows as dissolved, so if that was the parent, i'm not sure where that leaves Premiair Aviation Services - anyone who knows about company structures care to comment?

BCA have 'sold' the main airfield site at Blackbushe, retaining just the buildings and parking areas on the north and west sides (including the 'sunday market' site which closed in May 2015) for the use of their car auction business; this includes the ex PremiAir hangars which will be used for car storage.

Has anyone heard what has happened to PremiAir's assets and its liquidation.....or has it just been magic'd away? :suspect:

PremiAir's demise is being administered by Carter Clark.
Carter Clark | Contact (http://www.carterclark.co.uk/contact/)

I've been in contact them with regards to being recognised as a creditor in respect of my missing pension contributions. They are being very helpful.

Really hope that works out MG.

The way that both incarnations of Premiair behaved with regard to pension contributions was despicable. :yuk:

I contacted Mr. Avery regarding the missing Premiair spares from Blackbushe and if he knew of their whereabouts?

This was his direct reply:-
Good to hear from you and all is noted, I have actually continued to grow the PremiAir Group of companies and expanded them. You will see the re-vised web site shortly and I am making tremendous profits. I have developed the Spares side and now turning over $4.5 million in the last 9 months just in this department of the PremiAir Group I did suggest to you at the time when Keith Marshall screwed up my plans at that time that I would do something with you as I had idea’s!!, however we all move on and I have never faulted on the development of PremAir despite the rubbish I had to go through, that I would do something with you and I still will if you wish, you could work with me on a company in the groups that I have and I would give you shares in it also so you can really make your mark. I would be prepared to give this company orders for Aviation spares as I will have to even further expand the spares area even more than I am doing at present and it is and will perform and expand even more. I am dealing in the bigger league now with many overseas companies.

Didn't even answer the question. What a

Saw GA making 30 quid as a beater on a driven shoot near Woodbridge in December. If I'd realised it was him at the time I might have declared open seaon on GA's

Funny you should mention Nigeria as Premiair Nigeria was one of the compnay names he tried to trade as then morphed it into SuperGoose Aviation!!!
The man is never to be trusted and personally caused me my health and nearly my home due to his manipulative corrupt business practices.

Please feel free to offer him both barrels next time, he would sell his own Granny for a few quid, pure greed is all he knows.

I hear that the new website is up and running and there are some new members of GA's management team + himself as the aviation expert and his old finance director of course. PremiAir is "fully approved by the world's key regulatory authorities to provide a full range of maintenance, refurbishment and modification services across a wide range of business aircraft....Safe, meticulous, accountable and utterly trustworthy....a market leader in the supply of aircradft spares...we guarantee complete honesty and integrity to all our clients" Well, well, well he must have changed!

I have heard that the old video showing Blackbushe, some of the original engineers and Starspeed pilots is also on the website together with an address in Shepherds Market with the telephone number in Worksop but if anyone belives this rubbish, they deserve to be treated as a fool...and lose their money. I wonder what happened to all of those spares.

Did you get anywhere with your pension payment and Carter Clarke Mighty Gem?

Unfortunately not. After a glimmer of hope from an employee who obviously didn't know what he was on about, the chances of receiving any thing else is virtually nil. 😥

Sorry to hear that MightyGem. Sounds like a Flashman saying: "Promises; mere promises"!
Actually the whole PremiAir saga sounds a lot like the sad and unfortunate BHS debacle....I wonder who played the parts of Dominic Chappel and Sir Philip Green!

Seems like former owner Andrew Davis (and he who allegedly started the downward spiral) is back in the aviation game - two S76Bs recently registered to Von Essen Aviation, G-BOYF and G-BWDO. Given its demise a few years ago PremiAir won't be the operator; best of luck to whoever is...

Yes, I've also heard that, the aircraft left Stansted on a low loader bound for Blackpool, I'd like to wish him luck but the way he left PremiAir has left a lot of people with a bitter taste that will take a long time to get rid of, as they say 'it's a small industry '

Don't imagine it will be in a hurry. I'm still waiting for Tearesa May when she was Home Secretary for 6 years before she became a useless Prime Minister, to repay the 78% of my Equitable Life Pension she cut 20 years ago! But she could afford to repay a Scottish Banker 50million wiping off a Bank and building two of the largest Aircraft Carriers the Royal Navy has ever seen.
