Authorities say two small planes collided in mid-air over Arizona, but the pilots managed to safely land both aircrafts and there are no reported injuries.

Must have a bloody strong main spar, that Arrow. Hanging by a thread, you could say. I bet that thought crossed the pilots' mind during the approach/landing, too.

Wonder what it was like trying to handle the other Cherokee, with the outer wing panel absent?

Bloomin heck, that's two OAA a/c in my logbook now that have been in mid airs! Last one in 2009 but the other guys were not so lucky :-(. Glad all got out of this one with some fine skills.

Might be a good idea to add TCADs to the OAA-fleet?
