L2K Happy days

I was chuffed to bits to see L2K in such fine spirits today. It is a long time since parking has overflowed onto the old runway and barely a bike left on the bike stand. It reminded me of GA in its heyday, and although we still see such days its good when they happen, particularly on days when the sun is not shining.

I hope a few others enjoyed a good lunch out.

Went to LFAT a few weeks back, the sea fog had come in and got put in the hold, I was all set up on the ILS for an approach down to the limits when at 700 ft I poped out into bright sunshine and 10k + vis.

The fish in Perard's was superb as ever !

We did Le Touq on Saturday and it was brilliant. ATC were charming under the pressure of 5 Rosbiff all arriving at once. The apron was full. The weather was blissful, the beach was heaven and the food delightful.

But it's a no taxi city! There are 5 taxis in L2K all constantly with people in. So we walked back to the airport which actually was lovely and not too far.

Must go again before the clocks change.
