Old/New SRG1105

Sorry if this has already been asked..

If a student started their PPL flight training pre 17/09/12 all their exam results would have been entered on the old SRG 1105, do we have to transfer everything across onto the new SRG1105a for licence issue?

In this case, I would just staple the two forms together, and enter 'Please see attached form SRG1105' in the new SRG1105a in the relevant section.
