Guys

wasn't sure which forum to put this on to be honest.

A mailing list I'm on drew this to my attention:

http://www.asile.org/citoyens/numero13/pentagone/erreurs%5Fen.htm

http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/world/europe/newsid_1907000/1907955.stm

Are there any PPRuNe threads or websites with *reliable* data on this. Personally I think it looks full of crap. do they think the 757 ended up in Area 51 or what for f*ck sake.

Gotta agree Mark, It looked a bit strange when I first saw it. Never looked like a Cessna had hit it never mind a 757, and im sure anyone would have to agree that at any AOA you would have to go some to make such a minimul impact. Note that the first article assumes the the aircraft would have been travelling at a minimum of 250mph (Landing).

Poor sod, must have had his flaps stuck up as well.

Regards.

Plenty of this stuff on Jet Blast, which is where topics about kooky conspiracy theories belong.
