I have to say they could have saved a lot of time and money, and just got my kids round at bath time....

Not as fun when the "test" is unplanned and the hangar is full of brand new aircraft.

Yeah, happened in a hanger I was working in. The fire department tested the alarm system w/o disabling the fire suppression. The agent in this system was mildly corrosive with aluminum, there was a large bill to the city for all the clean up and corrosion preventative work we had to do.

The link works for me in darkest Bedfordshire.

Had a similar system once in an MoD hangar I ran, tested it one Friday afternoon (deliberately) then the bloody estate idiots decided to knock off for the weekend and by Monday morning it had eaten most of the painted steel floor. Cost a fortune and the hangar was unuseable for about a month.
