Did somebody suffer a EFATO out of shoreham just caught the end of the south East News looked like A PA-28 G-TLET Is that a Cherokee with a Diesel Engine looks like they all walked away Good Job Done who ever you are

Just when you think the media cannot possibly do its job any more ineptly, up pops a bottom feeder like Ms Anna Roberts to prove that there really is no limit to the stupidity of 'journalists'. As for:Sussex Police guarded the scene but escorted The Argus to the crash site to look around.I bet the AAIB just loved that!

Never knew there was a diesel engine certified for a Cherokee, what kind is it? what's the HP. That certainly sounds like the way to go.
And well done to the pilot gettin it down safe.

Been around for quite a while now, I remember them being touted to flying schools as a retrofit answer to escalating AVGAS costs years ago.

Interesting to see if it had the same problem as G-BSPM which force landed near Dorking a year or so ago.

Nearly all of my PPL training was conducted on Thielert diesel-engined PA28s.
