I am thinking about applying for the NATS ATCO training programme and I realise that you are at the company's disposal in terms of their operational requirement at a given point in time.

But has anyone who has completed this course been posted at Belfast Aldergrove after the 3 years training or is it highly unlikely you will be placed where you would like to be ever? Thanks

Forgive me...but do you WANT to be posted to Aldergrove? Or is the thrust of your question you DON'T want to be posted to Aldergrove.?

There has been a steady stream of new folks posted in over the past few years. At least five in the past three years that I can think of.

Apologies, I would like to be posted at BFS if the opportunity was given.

Wiseguy do you work for NATS or where did you get such info?

Eastern is actually a professional driver. He drives about 80 miles a day 60% of the time but takes a relaxing break half way through at EGAA!

Just going by numbers of controllers at a unit and number of units etc. I'd guess the odds are about 100 to 1 against it when you start at any random date.
